Clear, upfront pricing—no surprises.
Session Fees
Individual Therapy (ages 5 to adult): $150 per 45–50 minute session
Group Therapy: $125 per session (group offerings vary throughout the year)
Billing & Payment
We believe in clear, transparent communication about the cost of care so you can feel informed and confident every step of the way
All sessions are billed through a secure, HIPAA-compliant payment system. Your card will be kept securely on file and automatically charged after each session.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule
Late cancellations or no-shows are charged the full session fee unless waived for emergencies
Insurance & Superbill
I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly. However, I can provide you with a superbill (a special receipt with billing codes) that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
Every insurance company handles out-of-network benefits differently. I recommend calling your provider to check your coverage before scheduling. Feel free to ask questions like:
“Do I have out-of-network psychotherapy benefits?”
“What is my deductible and has it been met?”
“What percentage is reimbursed for out-of-network therapy?”
“Do I need pre-authorization?”
Client Billing Protections (No Surprises Act)
Under federal law, clients who use insurance have protections against unexpected medical bills. While Zoey’s Friends is a private-pay practice and does not bill insurance, you have the right to understand how billing works and what to expect.

Good Faith Estimate
As a self-pay practice, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate outlining the expected cost of services.
This estimate will be provided to you prior to beginning services or upon request and is designed to help you understand and plan for the cost of care.
